Addressing Basic Needs
When you help us address basic needs of the communtiy, you are helping to provide temporary emergency assistance for individuals on their journey to self-sufficiency.
From every donation to United Way of Saginaw County - 23% is allocated to programs helping to address basic needs.
Our partnering agencies who have programs designed to address basic needs are:
- American Red Cross
- First Ward Community Center
- Food Bank of Eastern Michigan
- Good Neighbors Mission*
- Hidden Harvest
- Neighborhood House
- Salvation Army
- Youth Protection Council
