On Wednesday, April 26, Duro-Last Roofing Inc. members met at Brunkow SISD facility and moved to Claytor Head Start to engage in an Earth Day cleanup of the grounds. Members collected and disposed of litter, retouched the paint on external structures, and performed other maintenance tasks in honor of the 47th annual Earth Day

Last week, Michigan State Senator Ken Horn visited the Saginaw YMCA's after school STEM program (for more information on the Americorps STEM program, click here). These programs operate at over 10 locations throughout Saginaw County. Congratulations to Saginaw resident, Raquel Hernandez who had the winning ticket (#0116) for our 'Fly Away with United Way' raffle. The winning ticket was pulled by Saginaw Spirit mascot, Sammy Spirit, at our Annual Meeting on May 3, 2016. The raffle was another successful fundraiser, raising $7,005 for the Saginaw County community. The United Way team thanks all those who sold, promoted or purchased the raffle tickets.
