Home Depot believes strongly in volunteering to give back to their community. On May 6, more than 70 Home Depot volunteers showed Saginaw County what it means to LIVE UNITED.

The residents of Harold Street were pleased to see a collaboration of groups working together to clean up and fix homes in their area. "One Week One Street" is a week-long project hosted in June, designed to help residents in the city of Saginaw.

More than 160 high school students came to represent 12 Saginaw County high schools to brighten their community during the annual Spring Into Service Day. The event kicked off at the Saginaw YMCA where students were mixed into groups with other students from different schools.

The Harvey Randall Wickes Foundation and United Way recently aligned together to create a new Strengthening Our Communities Initiative. The new initiative will focus on youth services and neighborhood development, as well as working together to create a safer community.
