Holiday Wish List 2012

Thank you to everyone who helped create CHANGE by helping a local individual or family through the Holiday Wish List program. This year, close to 300 individuals and families had a brighter holiday season thanks to the donations of personal needs items, food, clothing and toys for their children.

The Holiday Wish List program has been helping families in our community have a brighter holiday season since 1985. Thanks to generous community donations totaling more than $86,000, more than 320 families and individuals were able to receive assistance during the 2011 holiday season.

Each year, generous community donors choose to step up and make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you to all of the donors and volunteers who helped make the holiday season brighter for others in Saginaw County.

The families that the program serves really appreciate the help that they receive. Here is just one of the many thank you letters that we received from the 2011 program recipients:

Thank you Wish List,

I know that this is a little late but I wanted to wait and say thanks after Christmas so I could tell you how excited my daughter was to open and wear all the Dora jewelery and how much my son loves his new coat. I can't say thanks enough. You have no clue how nice it is to vacuum or to be able to cook a whole meal without having to switch and wash the pots and pans. It was so very appreciated. Thank you all so very much. You all were a blessing and made our holiday extra special. Thank you, ~Wish #1169
