Imagination Library

One of United Way of Saginaw County's newest community impact programs is Imagination Library. The program is available to children throughout Saginaw County between the ages of Birth-5.
Imagination Library provides the opportunity for children to receive FREE, age appropriate books mailed directly to their homes. After the child signs up for the program, they will receive one book, per month, until their fifth birthday.
Parents of qualifying children may sign their children up to receive the FREE books by sending in a completed registration form or calling the Saginaw ISD at (989) 399-7423.
Previously the program was only available for children (age 0-5) in the Merrill, Hemlock and Buena Vista School districts. Those children still qualify to receive the free books.
This program is funded strictly through grants and private donations. Imagination Library is supported by the Tri-City Chapter - The Links, Inc, Altrusa, Dow Corning Foundation, Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, Saginaw Intermediate School District, Saginaw Community Foundation and United Way of Saginaw County.
The cost to sponsor one child for one year is $30.The child will receive one book a month (12 per year). Once the child is enrolled, at whatever age between 0 and 5, they are enrolled until they reach their 5th birthday. Donations can be mailed to:
