Creating CHANGE within the community

As a lifelong Saginaw resident, George Heilbronn has a passion for creating CHANGE within his community. “I support United Way because it is a great organization that gives me the chance to help people right here in my community,” said George. As a donor, leader and community advocate, George encourages others to give back to their community in whatever way matters most to them. For George, one of his favorite annual programs is Project Independence. “The joy you feel for an individual when they are finally able to leave their home after being homebound for two years and the smile on the individuals face when they can go out and get their own mail, is truly an honor and great program to be involved in,” said George.
