Dedicated volunteers went out in the cold, windy weather today to help fix an old, non-working ramp for a Saginaw City resident. Since the original ramp was barely useable and not up to code, our volunteers came out to install a new, working ramp - allowing the homeowner the accessibility to easily enter and exit her home. Thank you to our volunteers for helping make this happen!
Thank you to all the Covenant HealthCare employees who donated cold weather items during the Covenant Cares Coat Drive. The Covenant Concierge team collected coats, hats, scarves, gloves, snow pants and sweaters to help keep others in our community warm during the cold months ahead. Donated items came in all colors and sizes. Thank you for LIVING UNITED and making a difference in our community!
Our AmeriCorps Healthy Kids Health Futures Partnership Program recently received $30,000 for 2015/16 program funding. The financial support received comes from three, $10,000 grants provided by the Saginaw Community Foundation, Allen E. and Marie A. Nickless Memorial Foundation and Wickson-Link Memorial Foundation. We thank the foundations for their generous support of this program!
