Saginaw's Most Stylish

1st Annual Saginaw's Most Stylish event raises $42,725 to support local literacy and educational programs!

*******Save the date for 2017 - Thursday, October 26!*******

Thank you to the following advocates who stepped out of their comfort zone, advocated for the cause and helped create even more impact in our community!

Thank you to everyone who came to our 1st Annual Saginaw's Most Stylish event and helped make this a HUGE success. We are already looking forward to next year's competition.

Congratulations to all of the University of Michigan fans who stole the Favorite College Team challenge. Their fight song was played at the end of the night as that school received the most collective votes.

As you will notice above, those who have raised $1,000 or more have been added to our Saginaw's Most Stylish Hall of Fame! Congratulations and thank you for your advocacy!

More on Saginaw's Most Stylish...

Thank you to our 18 community advocates who have stepped up to help us raise funds for our local literacy and educational programs. Our first round of this event consists of asking community members to place their votes for favorite, or most stylish, advocate. Each vote costs $5 and will support various literacy and educational programs in Saginaw County.

Online voting started Monday, September 19 and remained open through Wednesday, October 19 at 5 p.m. The month-long Saginaw's Most Stylish campaign concluded on Thursday, October 20 at Horizons Conference Center. Guests were treated to heavy hors d' oeuvres and an open bar, in addition to the very entertaining "fashion" show.

During the "fashion" show, participants had 60 seconds to collect last minute votes from the audience while they performed on stage to their selected song. At the end of the fashion show, all amounts were totaled and added to their collection of online votes. After the final count down, Gene Pickelman was awarded the title of Saginaw's Most Stylish. The community will win by receiving additional financial support of key community programs.

Thank you to all those who purchased a ticket to attend the event. We welcomed nearly 250 people on Thursday, October 20!
