Get Involved with United Way's Special Events!

Throughout the year, United Way hosts a number of special events and engagement efforts to assist us in our goal to lift nearly 5,000 Saginaw County Households out of the ALICE (Assset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and below classifications. These events are not possible without the support of individuals, groups and the business community. We invite you to join us by supporting our events.

Past 2020 Events

ALICE Summit

Business leaders came together for a community conversation about how we can work together to empower the ALICE population. ALICE workers are essential to the fabric of our society. ALICE works in jobs that are integral in our communities, from child care educators and home health aides to mechanics - all workers we rely on every day. The future of our communities is directly tied to the financial stability of ALICE households. When ALICE suffers and is forced to make difficult choices, we all face serious consequences.
