Holiday Wish List

Each year, volunteers selflessly give their time to help generous community donors provide a better holiday for hundreds of families in Saginaw County. If you would like to help open hearts this holiday season, please feel free to search through our Holiday Wish List database.

This search will help you locate an individual or family needing assistance with personal care items, toys and/or clothing. You can search by category, (families, individuals, kinship care families, assisted living families or out-county families) wish number, number of individuals needing assistance, or by the general description. Please note, the general description is to help give you an idea of what the family needs and what the children are interested in. You do not have to purchase everything listed in the description.

How to use the search:

1.) Search by keyword - if you are looking to help someone based on a particular keyword, you can search using this method. For example, if you wanted to help a family who has recently been laid-off, you could use the search to show you all families matching that criteria.

2.) Search by details - the more information you ask this search to find, the more specific results you will receive.

  • Search for open wishes using the status search.
  • If you have a wish number already in mind, you can use the wish # search to track that wish and see if it has been filled or if it is still open
  • Description search is a little harder to navigate through, and not a search we suggest using to find a family or individual
  • Looking to help a family, individual, kinship care family, assisted living family or an out-county family - use category to find the perfect match
  • Have a number in mind of how many people you would like to help - search by family size to find the available options

3.) It is important that you define your search method - the default automatically goes to keyword search only, if searching with detailed information, you will need to make sure all search methods are selected.
